Project name: Mes del Diseño Emergente

Year of execution: Mayo 2017

Description: The scenography is made up of a central box that contains golden chains covering the bottom of it and 3 mannequins. Around it are 5 boxes on which 5 mannequins are placed at different heights, to enhance them and provide dynamism.

Closing the space and hanging from the ceiling is the painter’s plastic to create denser or lighter spaces by creating translucent and opaque visions, as well as serving as a support for the projection made up of images from Cuba. In addition to being able to create a private space where the same plastic forces the user to have to move it a bit to get to the exhibition, and thus create a movement effect.

The installation is designed to be a passable and to allow the people to surround and contemplate the wardrobe in its 360 degrees.

The painter’s plastic would create dynamism by generating movement or sound when passing near it.

Concept: The reflection around the scenograpgy is based on referring to the Cuban port. Since this city is the subject for the exhibition. For this reason, we play with elements such as wooden boxes to remember the transport of the port. In addition to other accessible elements of the time such as painter’s plastic.

All this, creating a contrast with the richness symbolized by the golden chains arranged inside the main box.
